Donald Tusk and the EPP again join with Socialists, Greens and Guy Verhofstadt’s (ALDE) in an attempt to combat the PiS in Poland.
The EPP is gone and has chosen to embrace an all-powerful superstate. Their actions give new meaning to a political version of the First Commandment: “Thou shalt have no other gods before Brussels”.
Manfred Weber, leader of EPP, despises Matteo Salvini of Italy and has moved closer to Emmanuel Macron of late. Weber and his “silent” coalition will target Salvini next. The EPP has made it very clear that their loyalties are with the superstate in Brussels, and anyone who questions this theology will be viewed as a heretic.
In Germany, the CSU of Bavaria works with Angela Merkel and the far-left Socialists to prevent change in order to protect their own interests.
In Brussels, the EPP works with Socialists, ALDE liberals and Sargentini Greens to extent the power and scope of Brussels…and themselves.
For any positive change, Manfred Weber and the EPP must be weakened. Merkel’s EPP is specifically designed to prevent strong alternatives from challenging the theology of Brussels and its insatiable desires for ‘more EU’.
