* “Europe’s Migrants are here to stay.” In response to the intense opposition regarding relocation quotas, Brussels lays out its manifesto on migration and claims that Europeans must accept mass migration from the third world as the “new norm”.
The V4 Report – via a three part series we posted on Monday – detailed some of these plans designed by Angela Merkel and Brussels to accomplish their goals. Unfortunately, the deportation option appears no longer to be an option for Brussels. They have other plans.
“It’s time to face the truth. We cannot and will never be able to stop migration,” writes EU Commissioner for Migration Dimitris Avramopoulos, in a piece for POLITICO, published Monday entitled, “Europe’s Migrants Are Here to Stay”.
The career bureaucrat from Greece added “human mobility will increasingly define the 21st century”, and that mass migration is an issue Brussels has committed Europe to “for the long haul”.
However, “Europe” has never committed to this open-border manifesto. Avramopoulos and the EU fail to understand that many parts of “Europe” have a much different vision. He will be challenged and defied. The next several months will be extremely divisive and, given this attitude of the leaders of Brussels, this issue could break the EU.
Avramopoulos made clear that Brussels sees asylum not as a way to offer “temporary respite” from war but instead as another method of “permanently transplanting” third world populations into EU nations.
“They have found safety in Europe, but we also need to make sure they find a home,” he writes of refugees, going on to insist that “programming” Europeans to welcome mass migration is “not only a moral imperative”, but “also an economic and social imperative for our aging continent — and one of the biggest challenges for the near future”.
“At the end of the day, we all need to be ready to accept migration, mobility and diversity as the new norm and tailor our policies accordingly. The only way to make our asylum and migration policies future-proof, is to collectively change our way of thinking first,” the migration commissioner from Greece concludes.
Avramopoulos wants to “program” Europeans how to think like Brussels and the Open Society network? How does he intend to accomplish this? Does he not realize that Central Europeans are not soulless computers and his policies and arrogance will only further divide Europe? Does he not realize this “forced solidarity” was attempted in the past on the CEE nations?
As the V4 Report detailed over the last few days, this is not about refugees. Jean-Claude Juncker confirmed this by stating the EU is opening up “legal pathways” for migrants to enter Europe on a permanent and ongoing basis. George Soros has indeed morphed into the “center of influence” in Brussels and they are attempting to implement his agenda as outlined from 2015.
According to Avramopoulos, the Commission is working to “enhance legal channels for economic migration with a more ambitious Blue Card for highly skilled workers and kick-start targeted labour migration pilot projects in key third countries”.
While Brussels claims that the Blue Card will bring “highly-skilled workers” to Europe, Breitbart London reported last year that revisions to the scheme clearly contradict this, stating that it would be necessary to provide newcomers with education, employment, and vocational training.
In his monologue, the Greek politician also praised a series of POLITICO articles which accuse the EU of being “too white”, in which the bloc was urged to bring in measures which would encourage replacing native Europeans with “people of colour” in Brussels jobs.
Avramopoulos is furious at those who reject EU migrant quotas and called those who defy the relocation mechanism as “anti-European”. The V4 Report does not believe either Avramopoulos or Brussels has the moral authority to speak for Europe. Whatever respect they may have once had is gone.
“It is naïve to think that our societies will remain homogenous and migration-free if one erects fences,” he thunders, in a paragraph clearly aiming at nations in Central Europe, where leaders have fought against the imposition of third world migration.
With this declaration, the Battle for the heart and soul of Europe has arrived. Why do some talk of “EU solidarity” when it’s clearly absent. Brussels has their own culture, completely alien to the beliefs of many European nation states.
We do not have any time tables, but we cannot see how two completely different sets of values, at war with each other, can survive inside a union. The people of the CEE region will not tolerate a ruling class that seeks to undermine their culture, beliefs and way of life.
The future is not the EU multicult Project as envisioned by Brussels, but smaller, less-intrusive regional alliances that better reflect the values and beliefs of its people. Who wants to be “programmed” by Dimitris Avramopoulos on how to think and live?
Onward V4! It’s time to build and strengthen your own regional core.
