EU Radical Watch: Sweden’s preferred EU commissioner Ylva Johansson demands “compelling solidarity” between EU countries regarding migration.
But she could not explain what this actually means; yet, we know very well what she means from her radical past.
* Here is an example of her work from Sweden and her “solidarity” with the municipalities:
From svd – “ingen skall köpa sig fri”…
“Det är ett tufft läge för kommunerna, men alla måste ta emot solidariskt och ja, jag pekar med hela handen”, säger Ylva Johansson. “Regeringen är nu beredd att straffa kommuner ekonomiskt”.
Translation: “It’s difficult for the municipalities, but all must receive (refugees) solidary and yes, I show with the whole hand. The government is now prepared to punish municipalities economically”.
Johansson’s extremism was on display when she claimed Municipalities should be forced to receive new arrivals with residence permits, emphasizing any municipality saying they had a shortage of housing “must make sure to build it”.
** The V4 Report believes Johansson is highly unqualified and not well-suited for this post. This was a colossal mistake by Ursula von der Leyen and she should be rejected. Johansson and her government are out of the mainstream and have presided over a migration catastrophe in Sweden…this cannot be allowed to spread across the EU.
What was von der Leyen thinking? Does she believe Johansson and Sweden represent the European “way of life”?
Johansson was either being intentionally deceptive or she just really is in over her head, much like the government of Sweden when it comes to migrants, especially those aggressive “unaccompanied minors” that seem to rule the streets of Sweden.
– Last week, Ylva Johansson appeared before the European Parliament.
She is the intended Swedish EU Commissioner, responsible for the EU migration policy. But she performed so poorly and offered no concrete answers to the questions.
In yesterday’s SVT Agenda she had some answers…EU countries should be forced to “solidify” immigration.
“I don’t even know if I did anything wrong”, she said in the program. She was one of the few commissioners who were not approved immediately. “This is a difficult portfolio. The parties are far apart and there are many emotions. My mission is to find a compromise”.
Or, in another words, EU solidarity, which is the kiss of death.
When asked how to get reluctant EU states to accept asylum seekers from the Third World, she replied that she should talk to all countries, pointing out:
“I think it is imperative that we have a compelling solidarity between EU member states. If we have a common external border, we must have a system for how we manage and distribute refugees. We need a compelling solidarity between the countries, yes.”
However, Johannson cannot explain exactly what “compelling solidarity” means. She wants to “return” to it later, she explains. But it should not be voluntary if you want to be part of a common asylum policy.
When program director Anders Holmberg asks her if it means that all countries must open their borders to asylum seekers, she cannot answer.
*** After her confirmation and given her record in Sweden, we are sure she will be free to give her answers, which will not please Visegrad.
But this is not something that can be easily corrected. Once in, how can one get rid of a rogue EU Commissioner? Very hard, as evidenced by the tenure of the current EU migration minister Dimitris Avramopoulos, who was an absolute disaster, and became even more arrogant, doing his best to divide Europe with his quota schemes.
Johansson is a very odd choice for this portfolio. Yet, this is the EU, so we are not surprised.
“Forced solidarity”…quite an odd term but Brussels is a very odd place.
