* Czech Republic: CZECH DOCTORS HELPING THOUSANDS OF REFUGEES IN JORDAN.
** The Czech Republic and V4 nations are making a difference where it counts. Assisting true war refugees closer to their homes is often the most efficient, productive and humane way to help those in need. “Relocation” may fit the agenda of the international Open Society activists, but it exposes many others to great dangers, including the refugees themselves.
– The Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan is home to some 80,000 refugees. Last year the Czech government sent 40 million crowns to Jordan to finance housing units for some 2,000 refugees. Aid money earmarked this year is being used for the camps electrification.
– Radio Prague quotes one of the doctors in charge: “Mainly I think that when we take the refugees to the Czech Republic the doctors do a good job, but they don’t really understand the circumstances in which these people find themselves. When the doctors come here they see the big picture and the patients get a lot more sympathy from them. It is also important that in this way we can help many more patients. Before patients were flown to the Czech Republic on a special plane and were given treatment there for three to four months. So we could only help a relatively small amount of people. Now for the same amount of money we are able to treat many more. ”
One rarely hears these stories from a manipulative media or EU Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos, who erroneously believes the crisis can be solved with endless relocation orders. Avramopoulos, who is Greek, has his own agenda, which is often at odds with the best interests of Central Europe.
The V4 nations have provided much aid and support to the refugees outside of Europe. Their solution, which calls for securing the borders and providing assistance to the refugees closer to their homes, should be the future model for Europe. Unlike EU relocation quotas, the V4 solution works.
Onward V4! Stay the course and keep up the great work.
