Support rises for Polish ruling party and PM Beata Szydlo.

* Poland. Support rises for Polish ruling party and PM Beata Szydlo. Opposition party continues to fall.

** The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has revised upwards its GDP growth forecast for Poland from 3.2% to 4.1% this year. Registered unemployment in Poland fell to a new low of 6.6% in October.

– Poland’s ruling conservative Law and Justice (PiS) party is backed by 40% of voters who say they would take part in parliamentary elections, according to the latest survey by Kantar Public.

– Support for Law and Justice, which swept to power in late 2015, climbed 5 percentage points from a similar survey in July. Meanwhile, backing for the opposition Civic Platform (PO) party fell 1 percentage point to 20 percent, the survey found.

Despite the resentment and bitterness emanating from Brussels, Poland is flourishing under the leadership of Law and Justice. In fact, Visegrad continues to be one of the few bright spots in Europe.

So much for EU Clerk Frans Timmermans and the obnoxious leaders of Germany. Poles will decide for Poland.
