EU State: An arrogant, controlling and meddling EU asks the Czech Republic 🇨🇿 to “clarify” trade measures on African swine flu.
According to Reuters, the EU executive said that it had asked Czech authorities to clarify a decision to ask states to test exports to the country for African swine fever.
“We’ve been in touch on this issue,” a spokeswoman said, adding that the European Commission had asked the Czech veterinary authorities to clarify their intentions.
“EU controls ensure the safe trade of products”, she claimed, saying “any additional measures are considered unjustified.”
* Wow, some “busy-body” clerk in Brussels thinks she knows how to protect Czechs better than Czech veterinary authorities. Notice the “snotty” attitude of the Eurocrat who considers additional measures taken by Czechs to insure the safety of its citizens as “unjustified”.
This is exactly what EU Migration Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos said over a year ago when he accused the Czechs (ex-Interior Minister Chovanec) and leaders of Visegrád of being unjustified for wanting to conduct their own security checks on the migrants that Italy and Greece wanted to “export” to them.
The Minister from Greece said these extra security checks were unreasonable…but it is not Avramopoulos who had to live with the consequences.
As we later learned from Chovanec, the authorities in both Greece and Italy were not only uncooperative, but stopped communicating with the Czechs over this sensitive item.
Chovanec and Visegrad were strong enough to show Avramopoulos the door, refusing to allow overrated EU bureaucrats to compromise the safety and security of their people.
The sky is not falling in the Czech Republic today, despite its refusal to accept the EU demand on migrants. Life goes on.
The Czechs should also tell this EU employee to keep walking…African swine flu and the best interests of the Czech Republic are beyond her scope.
As the EU self-destructs, realizing they have failed to win the hearts and minds of Europeans, its employees become more aggressive and desperate in an effort to maintain power.
As the threats and propaganda increase, the EU is starting to become a very scary place. Global governments anxious to rule over others are often incubators for future abuse.
