Denmark will likely sign the UN Migration Compact…but not without any opposition.
What is revealing is the leftist local.dk admitting that the document “includes a stated intention to give vulnerable migrants equal status to refugees and to work against economic support for media that spread ‘intolerant’ views on migrants.
In other words, the UN-EU goal is to commit Europe to mass migration by turning illegal migration into legal migration…and anyone who objects will be labeled as an intolerant, xenophobic racist. The typical ‘weasel-like’ defense of the multicult globalists.
We get it, and so does Hungary, USA, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and a few other self-respecting nations. It is interesting, with the exception of the pre-Kurz/FPO Austria, that these nations did not blindly follow Germany’s lead – like Sweden – regarding EU solidarity on migration in 2015 either.
– Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen (pictured below riding a bike with Emmanuel Macron) has spoken in defence of Denmark’s participation. Of course his son will need Macron’s support in the upcoming EU election.
However, Minister for Immigration and Integration Inger Støjberg will not be in attendance on Denmark’s behalf when the country becomes a signatory to the UN’s Global Compact in Morocco on December 10th and 11th.
Støjberg had been scheduled to represent Denmark at the meetings, but will now not take part, Jyllands-Posten reports.
“I have not previously participated in conferences of this kind and I don’t see myself as a participant in this one,” the minister said.
Støjberg once had to flee for her safety at the Sjælsmark deportation center. The situation turned ugly as a group of failed asylum applicants encircled her. She had to be quickly evacuated by her security team after the migrants turned aggressive.
We carried this story months ago and a few others regarding Støjberg. She is strong but needs more support.
Rasmussen, on the other hand, talks a good game but submits quickly once pressured by Brussels.
