Orbán, Hungary 🇭🇺 stand firm as country closes border crossing with Serbia as hundreds of illegal migrants demand entry.
Angela Merkel and Germany have led the migrants to believe that they are privileged guests…permanent guests.
Obviously, this was an organized show (NGO’s?) as open-border hustlers try exerting pressure on Hungary. It will not work.
– Police said in a statement that the “border-crossing has been temporarily closed…as undisturbed crossing cannot be guaranteed due to a large group of migrants near the Serbian side.”
Merkel may not admit it, but Hungary is defending all of Europe, most notably Germany, the “rich and welcoming” country that the migrants specifically target. One male illegal said, “We want to be allowed to continue our journey toward Western Europe.”
Our journey? More like a conquest.
– Hungarian authorities have put up two rows of wire fences along the border to prevent them from entering. Hungarian police reported a sharp rise in attempts to cross the country’s southern borders since December.
An adviser to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said more than 3,400 attempts were made last month alone to cross the country’s southern borders, up from several hundred a month a year ago.
Aggressive male migrants from alien cultures make up the vast majority and some may be Islamic extremists who fought in Syria.
A week ago, about 70 migrants attempted to break into Hungary at another Serbian border crossing in the night darkness, but were driven back after security personnel fired warning shots in the air. Again, while some in the media cry foul, this is exactly what needs to be done to drive the migrants back.
Serbia’s RTS news reported that Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin was traveling to the border to assess the situation.
Maybe the Serbian minister can assess the lax situation in his own country. If Serbia will not deport the illegals, it needs to detain them…and the same goes for Greece, where the illegals most likely gain entrance. All this accession talk for Serbia should be linked to its governments ability to control and deport the migrants.
As for Greece, the government must start deporting to Turkey in large numbers, instead of transferring the migrants to the mainland, where many then just leave to roam Europe.
* This crisis is not about refugees, but national security. It has turned into a street fight and the overwhelmingly majority of migrants are not fleeing war, but simply abusing Europe by taking advantage of its weakness.
Europe cannot win this battle by adhering to outdated and counterproductive UN/EU declarations that handcuff a nation state from defending its territory and people.
Hungary is leading by example…Hungarians clearly grasp the reality of self-preservation.
** Serbian state TV said the group was transferred back to asylum centres early on Friday and the border crossing reopened soon after.
