Poland and Hungary veto massive EU budget over rule of law chains.
Very disheartening (although not a surprise) that only two countries defended the sovereignty and independence of the nation state.
EU Parliament members are now crying for the EU matriarch (Merkel) to intervene. How will they survive when their almighty is gone? 😂
– “Hungary has vetoed the budget,” Zoltan Kovacs, a spokesman for Prime Minister Viktor Orban said. “We cannot support the plan in its present form to tie rule of law criteria to budget decisions.”
“The question is whether Poland… will be subject to political and institutionalized enslavement,” Zbigniew Ziobro, Poland’s justice minister said. “Because this is not rule of law, which is just a pretext, but it is really an institutional, political enslavement, a radical limitation of sovereignty.”
* Where was Andrej Babis? We remember well his carefully designed initial opposition in an effort to mislead Czechs at home. In the end, Babis folded and was on his knees in Brussels.
Do the other states not realize the stakes? Once this EU political weapon is unleashed, Brussels will eventually use it to break every member state.Hungary and Poland did the bloc a favor…whether they realize it or not.
