Scandal in Italy: Leaks reveal Magistrates agreed with Matteo Salvini’s migrant policy, but attacked him regardless.
* Another sign in Europe that the justice system has been deeply compromised by political activists pushing an agenda.
– Paolo Auriemma, chief prosecutor of the city of Viterbo, stated in one message revealed by newspaper La Verità: “I’m sorry to say that I don’t really see where Salvini is wrong. Illegitimate attempts are made to enter Italy, and the Minister of the Interior intervenes to prevent this from happening. And I don’t understand what the Agrigento Prosecutor has to do with it.”
According to an Il Giornale report on Thursday, the message was met with a response from magistrate Luca Palamara, who said: “You are right. But now we must attack.”
Salvini is furious regarding the leaks and he should be. A group of League MPs petitioned President Sergio Mattarella to investigate the matter, saying: “What was reported by the newspaper is very serious and intolerable: the independence of politics with respect to the judiciary must be preserved.”
** One also needs to start becoming familiar with the Council of Europe and this so-called European Court for Human Rights, which often handcuffs nation states from properly defending its borders and culture, among other things.
Is it compromised as well? 👇
The Council of Europe was formed some 70 years ago during a much different environment but has now morphed into another extreme organization attacking the integrity of the nation state and promoting open-borders and a host of other left-wing initiatives.
The V4 Report does not find any value of remaining a member state (there are 47 countries involved, including Turkey) of the outdated COE, which has broadened its scope through the decades.
Today, it only offers trouble, but no value. It’s time for the nation states to reassess many outdated organizations and treaties established decades ago.
