The usual suspects – France, Germany, Portugal and Luxembourg – have decided to reward the smugglers and encourage more illegal migration.
Matteo Salvini is happy. The 64 migrants who were taken to Malta by a German NGO will go to Germany, France, Portugal and Luxembourg. “Excellent”, he says.
But should Salvini be thrilled? Sure, the migrants are not in Italy (great news), but they are not being sent back to Africa. They are still in Europe.
Based on past results, once the illegals reach Europe, they are here to stay…which is exactly the goal of Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos and Brussels, which seeks to commit Europe to mass migration.
The NGOs were the big winners…they accomplished their goal of transferring the illegals to Europe. Mission accomplished; expect more attempts.
The big loser was Europe.
