Unlike Europe, Turkey has no problem with deporting unwanted foreigners back to their countries of origin.
105,000 migrants in Turkey were repatriated to their home countries in 2019.
One can surmise that Erdogan did not seek permission first.
In fact, a few weeks ago, the V4 Report posted regarding the French jihadists that Turkey was deporting back to France.
Erdogan stressed Ankara would continue repatriating foreign jihadists to their home countries even if they decline to take them back.
“Whether [foreign Isis fighters] are stuck there at the border it doesn’t concern us. Whether they take them or not, it is not our concern,” Mr Erdogan said, as he urged Western governments to “take care of your own problem”.
* Although we are not fans of Erdogan, he has a point here, one that Europe should learn from.
One gets tired of the same lame excuses from Germany, Greece, Italy, Sweden and others in Brussels that they cannot deport the illegals back to Africa or the Middle East because the leaders of these countries will not take their citizens back.
Why are they even given a choice?
The leaders of Europe must get off their knees; the aggressive male migrants from alien cultures should not be roaming the streets of Europe. This is scandalous.
These lame West EU governments must stop allowing themselves to be abused by the leaders of foreign countries. Just send the illegals back in large quantities without asking…whether they accept them or not is not Europe’s concern. (Swift, no-nonsense deportations outside of Europe would be a highly effective deterrent for future migrants.)
What is happening in Europe is an absolute scandal. The focus must be on deporting the migrants outside of Europe at all costs…not on useless and counterproductive EU relocation schemes.
