V4 Report: Hungary ??: Election protest in Budapest; the meltdown and hypocrisy of the multicult Left. Quite frankly, they are embarrassing themselves.
The “progressive” mentality seems to support democracy only if they approve of the results. Opponents of Viktor Orban gathered at the capital on Saturday to protest at what they say is an unfair electoral system. The protests come just six days after the governing Fidesz party won two-thirds of the parliamentary seats with half of the national vote.
Of course, the malcontents will say it was “unfair”; they were not only defeated, but crushed. We understand they are bitter, but this is not Kindergarten and there are no “time-outs” for temper tantrums. They need to accept reality and move on.
This protest of the Hungarian election results is rather strange and reveals the complete bankruptcy of the “New Age” Left-Wing in Europe. Is this all they have?
The Left has been discredited throughout Europe and their core is hollow. Unable to win the hearts and minds of Central Europeans, these multicult Socialists – many located in Brussels – will now attempt to demonize and slander their opponents in an attempt to destabilize democratically-elected governments and to overturn valid elections.
** In both Budapest and Prague ??, an arrogant and whiny media has labeled those who still believe in traditional European values as “ignorant and uneducated” simpletons.
This from a manipulative media that applauded the disastrous “Open-border” policies of Germany and the EU. Europeans have many reasons not to trust their narratives. The profession has sunk to all-time lows and tends to attract far-left activists seeking to promote an agenda. Professionalism and integrity are absent from the industry.
– These are also desperate times for the political opportunists who feed off the Brussels monstrosity. They realize they are losing their grip on power and will now resort to “other means” to maintain their influence.
It’s up to Visegrad and others in Central-Eastern Europe (CEE) to keep pushing them back. The protesters are a small minority and they obviously do not speak for Central Europe.
The people of Hungary, Austria, Poland and Visegrad have already spoken loud a clear in Central Europe…..at the ballot box. This is something Guy Verhofstadt and the Open Society crowd will just have to get used to.
