– The aim is to tackle the problems with illegal migration before the migrants reach the Schengen Area.

The Interior Ministry has set as the first priority the aid to North Macedonia, Serbia and Bosnia, situated on the Balkan migration route. The ministry points out that the number of migrants along this route and the eastern Mediterranean route increased by 53 percent last year.

* Yes, this is a good first step to help defend the EU, as the vast majority of migrants “stuck in Bosnia” eventually vanish inside the EU. Again, the EU does little to help in this area, besides sending in Frontex to observe the situation and to keep stats on where the migrants are from. The nation states of Visegrad and CEE have been the true help on this area.

However, another step is needed to relieve the pressure: mass deportations outside of Europe; otherwise, Europe will keep chasing its own tail, especially if the migrants are left to roam the Balkans. Eventually, they win “the game” and break the entry in order to receive the rich benefits of Germany and the West EU bloc.

Again, instead of wasting dollars on useless programs, the EU should concentrate its efforts on developing mechanisms to deport the illegals outside of Europe. For instance, they could withhold ALL EU foreign aid as a bloc to any country that does not willingly take back its citizens.

– In addition, the Czech Republic will send another 50 million crowns to Jordan and Libya to improve the situation in the refugee camps in these countries. In Jordan, the money is to secure a better education of Syrian refugees.

This is the far safer and more efficient approach for Europe. Rather than relocation, the Czech Republic can assist many more refugees in the camps outside of Europe.

This is the most prudent position, as opposed to scattering the migrants across the EU.
