Czech Republic to pay Nigerian migrants to leave and never return.

However, this plan is somewhat naive and will go nowhere without the “or else” to back up the voluntary request with a mandatory one.

What are Nigerian migrants doing in the Czech Republic in the first place?

While a smart use of funds, the safest, cheapest and most efficient policy is to deny entry from the start. There are too many roadblocks, including a lack of courage and determination, with sending the migrants back.

To be frank, this could be a political stunt designed for show by the country’s Interior Minister, whose party (CSSD) is imploding. What is his plan if they do not leave voluntarily?

– According to Remix, the report said the country has promised to pay Nigerian immigrants and their counterparts from Afghanistan, Iraq, Mongolia, Russia and Vietnam if they voluntarily decide to leave.

“Each individual could get funds ranging between 40,000 and 100,000 CZK. First funded returns should be processed in the third quarter of 2019,” the report read.

The program focuses particularly on migrants. Anyone who voluntarily leaves the country and promises not to return not only to the Czech Republic but to the EU, will be eligible for the money.

The Czech Republic interior ministry added that the programme will be suitable for all categories of foreigners, including those “legally in the country, illegals and asylum seekers”.

* We believe the Czech government should also look at creative ways to slash foreign aid to the countries of origin based on the money they spend sending them back. This would likely motivate some countries in Africa to act more responsibly in preventing its citizens from illegally migrating to Europe.

The leaders from Africa just cannot demand money. They need to do their part by accepting back the migrants and doing more to prevent them from leaving, including breaking-up the smuggling cartels operating on their territory.

The Czechs are on the right track, trying to avoid the fate of others in Western Europe. Once multicult societies become established, they are hard to break-up.

However, this plan is somewhat naive and will go nowhere without the “or else” to back up the voluntary request with a mandatory one.

In addition, it is not just illegal migration that is the problem…just ask France, Belgium and the U.K.

Just like the CSU show in Germany, others in Europe must be aware of proposals full of symbolism but empty of all substance.
