German federal states want more illegals from Greece but big Horst Seehofer is only willing to take more if the EU ‘acts together’.
There’s that German solidarity again…how charitable. It’s not that Seehofer is against migration, he just wants all to share the burden by designing an EU-wide migration scheme to honor Merkel’s legacy, which seems to be happening a lot lately.
Germany has the reputation of being efficient and organized…and that’s how they want the EU to ‘manage’ migration. They have no intention of stopping migration and believe it is a EU core value. Another problem: 36 illegals scheduled to be transferred to Germany from the planned quota could not be admitted because there were security concerns. They were from Afghanistan, Syria, Somalia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Several years ago, the Czech Republic was criticized for refusing to accept illegals because the governments of Greece and Italy did not permit the Czechs to properly verify the security status of the illegals concerned.
The Czech were correct then…and they are correct today to reject the EU relocation solidarity.
The EU-German migration pact must be unconditionally rejected.
