Greece seeks to deport Pakistani, Bangladeshi illegals aboard Turkish-flagged cargo ship.
Good luck with that 👌.
“Seeks” is a weak word when it comes to deportations, especially given the past failures of the Greek government to deliver.
– Of the 375 illegals transferred to the ‘reception’ and identification center on the Dodecanese island of Kos, 250 are Pakistani and Bangladeshi nationals. According to the same sources, 112 people come from Afghanistan.
* It’s long past the time to keep asking foreign regimes for permission to deport. This has not and will not work. Just send the illegals back home…what the governments of Pakistan and Bangladesh do with their nationals is not a matter involving Greece.
“Those who are not entitled to international protection will be returned,” Mitarakis told Open TV, adding that he would be contacting the two countries’ embassies over the matter.
How many times has one heard this pledge?
Contacting their embassies? Ok fine, if it’s regarding the logistics of returns, but don’t ask for permission…instead, explain to Pakistan that the illegals will be coming back.
The illegals are watching: If Greece fails to deport them, as in the past, more illegals will be given a green light to come.
If the EU has not gotten the message by now, this vicious cycle will never end.
It just goes on and on, with no end in sight.
