The Hungarian government is following Poland in moving against Big Tech, vowing action against the “shadowbanning” of “Christian, conservative, [and] right-wing opinions”.
Yes, there needs to be a big pushback against this assault on speech. Always curious about the mentality of those who wish to censor the opposition or a different view. What are they afraid of or do they really lack that much confidence that they cannot engage outside their comfort zone or beyond their Twitter circles?
Moreover, does censorship not get boring? How does one stay sharp by only reading things they agree with all the time.
We don’t keep count, but we have plenty of articles originating from left-wing sources (this one is not) such as the Guardian, InfoMigrants, EUobserver, or any number of German media outlets like DW.
Why not? It’s best to challenge their narrative.
