Hungary: 60 Migrants Try to Break Through Border Fence.
Csongrád County Police Headquarters reported that 60 aggressive migrants stormed the border en-masse at Röszke, on the Serbia-Hungary border.
The police said on their website that an armed guard on duty fired several warning shots before patrols arrived at the scene. Four arrests were made, the spokesperson said.
A small number of migrants managed to cross the border but were arrested, while police prevented others from getting through, the statement said.
* The EU Parliament and UN will have to get used to the “push backs”, which are becoming the new normal; there is simply no other way to properly defend one’s border from a group of aggressive male migrants forcefully trying to enter. Let the NGOs and EU Parliament cry foul, there is nothing they can do about it.
Obviously, this invasion was planned in advance.
Hungary is quite impressive. Leaders across Europe should visit the Hungarian border to get some advice on border security. Yes, the barrier helps, but it’s the attitude and readiness on the ground – plus the will to repel the illegals – that makes the difference.
If the government of Greece and the EU want to stop illegal migration, they need to develop the determination and focus of Hungary. Unfortunately, Brussels is following the model of the UN Migration Compact (safe, orderly and regular migration) and is focused on developing various schemes to turn illegal migration into legal migration.
