Peter Szijjarto, the Hungarian Foreign Minister, performs brilliantly again when faced with another biased and hostile “interviewer” from CNN (Christiane Amanpour).
Again, the V4 Report encourages our audience to also watch the video without sound to focus on the interviewer’s bitter expressions and body language. It was not really an “interview”; instead, it was more of an Inquisition with Amanpour attempting to express her views and judgements regarding the situation in Hungary.
The leaders of Hungary are used to this type of aggressive interview…which is one of the reasons why they are so good at it. It also helps that Viktor Orban and his cabinet are confident and very comfortable with who they are and what they believe in.
Unlike the president of France, who seems to have his own identity issues, there is nothing artificial about the leaders of Hungary. When challenged, Viktor Orban answers the bell for his people. ??
* Alessandra Bocchi on Twitter (below) posted this revealing exchange:
Amanpour: “You don’t have a crime problem, you don’t have a terrorist problem, so why [are you opposed to mass immigration]?
Hungarian Foreign Minister Szijjarto: “Because if we did not resist then we would have those problems.”
Szijjarto’s response was right on target. As we have said before: Once flooded – like France, Sweden and Belgium – it may already be too late.
Hungary and Visegrad were correct to take courageous measures to prevent the type of multicult environment prevalent in Western Europe that breeds home-grown jihadists and Islamic extremism. Orban controlled events instead of allowing the actions of others to control Hungary.
