Poland needs to be very careful regarding its new “EU allies”

Poland needs to be very careful regarding its new “EU allies”, who will come back to try to bury its Soul later. https://www.euractiv.com/section/politics/short_news/v4-meeting-cancelled-over-hungarys-ukraine-policy/ How wise is it to follow advice of an inexperienced Czech defense minister? In addition, national conservatives (ECR) cannot defend the sovereignty of the nation state only when it suits their interests. Some may be unaware that Hungary is a sovereign state that elects a government to put the interests of its country first, even if this is not popular elsewhere, although ironically it is in line with NATO’s position. Ukraine is not a member of NATO. * The new Czech government is a motley crew of left-wingers, opportunists and desperate neocons (they needed five group alliance to win) and will not be supportive of Poland regarding the rule of law or the LBGT agenda in the future. It is not a reliable government and has already resorted to heavy censorship…in line with Jourova in Brussels. Slanderous and emotional insults hurled at Orban from a shallow, unqualified Czech defense minister (she is a banker and neocon political hack…but must have experience from eating at the international house of pancakes 😂) – who is part of a government coalition that include far left Pirates – shows a lack of poise and seriousness required for this post. ** Mark Rutte, Vera Jourova and Guy Verhofstadt must be smiling at this divide. They despise both Hungary and Poland but are glad to see this split. Will they later expect Poland to “get in line” regarding the other issues and values? *** The PiS must also understand that the sovereignty of nation state and ability to decide what is best for its country is just not reserved for Poland. On UKR, SOVEREIGN nations (PL, HU) have different national interests (one must respect sovereignty of other) but PiS should not expect EU support in future regarding its sovereignty to reject woke EU “values”. Bottom lines: 1) Hungary position is aligned with both NATO and USA. 2) Hungary has been consistent regarding the defense of the European nation state, whether it involved migration, protecting kids from LBGT indoctrination in schools or foreign policy. One may not agree with Orban’s actions, but he has always been a realist and one who puts the national interests of his country first. We are pretty sure the new Czech government is not going to be defending its country’s sovereignty…let alone Poland’s independence from the heavy hand of Brussels. https://www.euractiv.com/section/politics/short_news/v4-meeting-cancelled-over-hungarys-ukraine-policy/
