This is a non-starter…just close the ports. Even Malta has recently gotten tougher in regards to new arrivals. Greece is pushing-back.

Not sure what is wrong with this EU-inspired government of Master Draghi.

– Italian media reports say the Interior Minister of this government wants a mandatory redistribution of migrants to other EU states, a request that is likely to be ignored.

Italy’s interior minister Luciana Lamorgese, in talks with Ylva from Sweden last week, demanded an EU home affairs meeting on the issue.

* Obviously, the current Italian government does not want to stop mass migration, but only wants to give the EU more power to manage the flows.

This is not a solution and it is quite counterproductive. Relocations will lure even more illegals.

Even if the relocation scheme was accepted, Italy would wake-up to the same problems tomorrow…and Europe will suffer from the consequences of regular and orderly mass migration.

Don’t be fooled by this current charade in Italy. Swift deportations and denying entry are the only viable alternatives.

Italy is accepting a large portion of the money in this new EU relief package. Time to do its part by actually defending the EU border instead of trying to pass the problem off to others.

Hungary does its part and more at its southern border. Time for Italy to do its part in securing the EU border.
